After the death of a spectator on the sidelines of the first concert, the American singer seemed to run out of breath during a performance.
In the middle of the summer season, Brazil and its capital Rio de Janeiro are faced with extreme temperatures of over 58 degrees and the humidex factor.
According to Brazilian media Folha, “Swiftie” Ana Clara Benevides died after feeling unwell due to the heat.
She was near the guardrail and appeared to be in cardiac arrest.
Extreme heat and tragedy forced the star to postpone her second concert in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
The city’s fire department said it had counted almost 1,000 fainting spells at the first show.
