Singer found dead aged 34 website says

Aaron Carter ignored the attorney’s advice and had no will

Aaron Carter, brother of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter, died without leaving a will, according to TMZ. The singer died last Saturday at the age of 34 in California, United States.

Family members told the US website Aaron was advised by his attorney to make a will, specifically on behalf of his 11monthold son Prince.

Incidentally, the little one had been living with his maternal grandmother since September, when the Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services removed Prince from the home where Aaron and his exfiancé Melanie Martin lived.

The baby shouldn’t be left helpless, however, because — according to TMZ — California law says she must inherit the estate of her father, who was single. The US website claims that Aaron Carter was not doing well, but he did have a home of his own.

Taking leave

Aaron Carter was found dead by his wife on November 5th. The information was confirmed by the artist’s exfiancée, Melanie Martin. The cause of death was not disclosed.

“Aaron Carter passed away. I love Aaron with all my heart and it will be a journey raising a fatherless child. Please respect my family’s privacy as we accept the loss of someone we love dearly. We are still in the process of accepting this unfortunate reality. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated,” said Melanie Martin, mother of the artist’s son Prince.

The authorities sent police officers to the scene to investigate a possible murder. Also according to the publication, the procedure is considered standard in cases like Carter’s.

TMZ also got a photo of the property that would be owned by the artist. The picture shows officers surrounded the house where he was found dead to prevent anyone from entering.
