Aaron Carter’s mother shared photos on social media of what she claims was the death scene from the pop singer’s home in November.

Jane Carter, who goes by the name of Jane Schneck on Facebook, posted the images to her page on Wednesday and said she would like police to investigate Aaron Carter’s death on November 5, 2022 in Lancaster, California as a possible murder reports the Angeles Times.

“I’m still trying to get a real investigation into the death of my son Aaron Carter,” she wrote on Facebook. “I want to share these death scene photos with you all because the coroner dismissed it as an accidental drug overdose.”

Aaron Carter, 34, best known for his albums LØVË and Aaron’s Party and the song I Want Candy, has been found dead by authorities at his home in California.

An official cause of death is unknown.

The Los Angeles County Medical-Examiner coroner has postponed the case pending further investigation and chemical testing, the Times reported.

TMZ reported that the photos Jane Carter posted were from the bathroom of his Lancaster home. These include the bathtub where Aaron Carter’s body was found, towels on the floor and what appears to be contaminated water that was spilled on the tiles, according to the website.

There was also a photograph of soiled clothing on the floor.

“Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the death of Aaron Carter,” the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement to the Times Thursday. “So far, the investigation has found no evidence of foul play. Mr. Carter’s autopsy results are pending. The investigations are still ongoing.”

Aaron Carter was the younger brother of Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter and performed on the band’s 1997 tour, according to . His debut album, Aaron Carter, was released later that year and went gold, the entertainment news agency reported.

The singer’s second album, Aaron’s Party (Come and Get It), was released in September 2000 and was certified triple platinum, according to .

In 2019, he was hospitalized after being served a restraining order by Nick Carter and one of his sisters, Angel, the Times reported. At the time, his siblings claimed that he had a mental crisis and made threats.
