Aaron Paul’s petition to change his official last name and that of his family has been approved, reports TMZ.
The Breaking Bad actor, 43, was born Aaron Paul Sturtevant but took his stage name because his last name was too difficult to pronounce – he and his wife Lauren Parsekian, 35, had applied to change their last names to Paul.
They also applied to change the legal first names of their son Ryden Caspian, 7 months, who was first named Casper Emerson.

According to legal documents obtained by the publication, Aaron’s name change petition was approved by the courts, as was his family’s.
The publication had previously reported that Aaron and Lauren detailed how they had to give their son a name at the hospital before later changing their minds and switching to Ryden.
They also state that the reason for the filing is that they “want to keep the family name consistent.” They are also parents to daughter Story, four.
Paul and Parsekian married in 2013 after meeting at Coachella in 2009. The following year they met again at the music festival and the couple shared their first kiss.

They got engaged on New Year’s Eve 2011 while the couple was enjoying their vacation in Paris.
Back in August, Aaron and Breaking Bad co-star Bryan Cranston reprized their iconic roles for a “long-awaited crossover” in the final season of Better Call Saul.
The couple returned in season six as beloved characters Water White and Jesse Pinkman.
A Stan spokesperson said, “Bryan and Aaron have both won numerous awards for their incredible roles, including Golden Globes and Primetime Emmys, making their inclusion in the final season a must-see for Breaking Bad fans.”
Breaking Bad ran for five seasons on AMC from 2008 to 2013.

Bryans Walter was a terminally ill New Mexico chemistry teacher who made and traded methamphetamine with his former student Jesse, played by Aaron.
The show received tons of critical acclaim, including 16 Primetime Emmy Awards and two Peabody Awards.
It starred many well-known actors and actresses, including Anna Gunn, RJ Mitte and Bob Odenkirk, who played Saul Goodman.
Bob, 59, landed his titular spinoff series Better Call Saul in 2015, which acts as a prequel to Breaking Bad.
Like its predecessor, it received critical acclaim and numerous awards and nominations, including four Golden Globes and nine Critics’ Choice Awards.
The Primetime Emmy Award nominee revealed back in March that he was near bankruptcy before landing the role of Saul on Breaking Bad.
“I got a call, ‘They’re going to offer you a part in Breaking Bad,’ which he admitted at the time wasn’t a ‘popular or big show’ coming out of the first season.
“Don’t say no,” says my agent. I said, “Dude, I haven’t said no in a year and a half, maybe you didn’t realize that,” Odenkirk joked.
He said he was still watching the show and wanted to know what it was about, adding that he called a friend he had written with, Reid Harrison, who told him, “Oh this is the best show on TV. You have to do that.”
Odenkirk made his debut in the eighth episode of the second season of Breaking Bad when Walter and Jesse hired Saul after Badger (Matt Jones) was arrested by the DEA.
