Despite a second-half blackout, the Packers were never threatened by the Bears after the first quarter.

Rodgers completed both touchdown passes in the second third. He first joined Aaron Jones from eight yards and then deftly spotted Allen Lazard from five yards in the end zone at the very end of the quarter.

Rodgers hit target in 19 of his 25 stints and had 234 yards through the air. He was the victim of three quarterback sacks.

Jones scored with the Packers’ other major early in the second quarter by hitting a 15-yard run in the pay zone. He rushed for 132 yards during the game.

After a promising start to the game, the Bears were handicapped by their anemic offense. Pivot Justin Fields ran his team’s only major in the first quarter.

Fields threw just 11 passes in the game and completed 7. He was the victim of a steal and three sacks and had just 70 yards.

The Bears (1-1), Packers (1-1), and Detroit Lions (1-1) all have the same record in the North Section of the National. The Vikings (1-0) play their second game against the Philadelphia Eagles (1-0) on Monday.
