On February 10, Aaron Rodgers said that he would enjoy “the next couple of weeks”, then he would “think quickly” and decide “pretty quickly”.
Twenty-two days later, the decision was not as quick as advertised and may prove to be more difficult than Rogers expected.
According to NFL Networkthe longtime Packers quarterback is “really torn” on where he wants to play next season and “goes back and forth on what he wants.”
Perhaps the complicating factor is not only whether to leave Green Bay, but what would be the best destination if he did.

According to Pro Football Talk, Rodgers has lined up three possible next teams: the Broncos, Titans, and Steelers, although there is some uncertainty about the details.
This was reported on Saturday by ESPN. that the Packers were not involved in any trade scenarios with Rogers and are waiting for his decision on whether he wants to return to Green Bay for season 18. However, Pro Football Talk reported that Denver, Tennessee and Pittsburgh had made deals for Rodgers.
Does he want to follow the path of Peyton Manning and connect with John Elway at the end of his career? Does he want to replace Ryan Tannehill and lead a powerful Titans assault? Does he want to replace Ben Roethlisberger on a team ready to win right now?
Or does he want to return to the team with which he won the Super Bowl – but only one – and reportedly had a hot and cold relationship with the front office?
Apparently Rogers doesn’t know yet. Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst told reporters this week that he hopes for a decision by the start of the league’s new year, March 16.
