Aaron Rodgers takes a beating from Colin Cowherd as the host questions his decision to leave the Packers after a nightmare first year with the Jets: “Forget his vaccine and his political views, his football IQ is not very high .”

Colin Cowherd has made a bold claim about Aaron Rodgers, saying the Jets quarterback's football IQ is “not very high” in a new segment.

Rodgers, 40, is no stranger to controversy, having proudly refused the COVID vaccine and previously misleading the public about his status by saying he was “vaccinated” before admitting he had the jab had not received.

Now, however, Cowherd has set his sights on Rodgers' football prowess after enduring a nightmare first season with the Jets in which he tore his Achilles tendon in Week 1.

“He had a smart offensive coach. He had a very good offensive line that ranked third. “He had a star running back, and they just drafted Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson – really, really talented young receivers,” Cowherd said Thursday on “The Herd” about Rodgers' decision to leave the Packers.

“And Aaron said, 'No, I want to go to a defensive coach.' [Robert Saleh] with a losing record up to the 31st offensive line.'

“Forget his vaccine and his political views, Aaron’s football IQ is not very high.”

The Jets slumped to a 7-10 record as Rodgers missed 16 games, while the offensive line, which Cowherd criticized, was also decimated by injuries. The Packers, meanwhile, are in the second round of the playoffs after defeating the Cowboys last weekend.

To be fair to Rodgers, his No. 1 target, Garrett Wilson, is considered one of the best young receivers in the game, while Jets running back Breece Hall also had an impressive year – especially given the circumstances.

Nonetheless, Cowherd obviously believes Rodgers made a mistake in pursuing a move from Green Bay, citing the brutal AFC East division and a glut of talented quarterbacks throughout the conference.

“When I look at Aaron Rodgers, was it delusion or just narcissism and hubris?” he said.

Rodgers recently made headlines for baselessly suggesting that Jimmy Kimmel would be on Jeffrey Epstein's list of associates.

Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers began by outlining a conspiracy theory about the colors of the NFL's Super Bowl emblems and predicting the teams that will play the big game this season.

The panel was taken aback by his lengthy explanation, and co-host AJ Hawk interrupted to jokingly ask if it was the Epstein list.

Kimmel was understandably outraged by the comments, calling Rodgers an “asshole.”

Rodgers took the opportunity to strongly condemn longtime nemesis Kimmel, saying, “There are a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, who are hoping that this list doesn't get published.”

Kimmel responded to List that night 'except for the obviously false nonsense that soft-brained lunatics like you can't seem to distinguish from reality.'

“Your reckless words have put my family in danger. “Keep it up and we will continue to discuss the facts in court.”

Rodgers later walked back the comments, saying: “I'm not stupid enough to blame.” [Kimmel] of which with absolutely zero evidence, concrete evidence.

'That's ridiculous. I'm glad and I think we can agree on something: 1. These crimes are heinous and 2. I'm glad you're not on the list.
