Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers doesn’t know if Sunday night’s loss to the Lions was his last game as a Packer or the last game of his NFL career.

Rodgers said he will take some time to “take the emotions out” before saying what his future holds. But Rodgers also said he expects to make his decision fairly soon so the Packers know how to plan for 2023.

“I will not hold them hostage. It’s still January here. March is a free hand,” Rodgers said.

When asked if he could play for another team, Rodgers replied, “I don’t know. I don’t like to say never.”

Rodgers acknowledged it will be a difficult decision.

“Eventually the carousel stops and it’s time to get off, and I think you know roughly when that is,” Rodgers said. “And that’s something to consider. is it time And what does the organization do? That is also part of it. But the competitive fire will always be there. I don’t think that will ever go away. Sometimes it gets carried over to other things that may never fill that big gap. But like I said, I feel good about what I’ve achieved in this league and wouldn’t regret walking away.”
