Aaron Rodgers is on the road to recovery after undergoing surgery to repair his ruptured Achilles tendon on Wednesday.
The New York Jets quarterback is clearly not afraid of ridicule, as he posted a photo on Instagram on Thursday showing himself in his hospital bed wearing only the blue skirt, a hairnet and a mask.

Rodgers confirmed the operation went well. He also thanked his supporters for “all the love, prayers and support” over the past few days.
The 39-year-old veteran was injured on Monday before spending five minutes on the field with his new team. As he fell after a tackle, Rodgers leaned on his left leg, which gave way under his weight.
The following day it was confirmed that his season was over. The quarterback later admitted he was heartbroken when he heard the news. Some observers have also suggested that he may be retiring.
