According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is expected to be cleared for action before next week's game against the Washington Commanders on Christmas Eve.

Rodgers tore his right Achilles tendon in Week 1, just four games after his Jets debut, and was working to be cleared for the comeback before the end of the season.

It should be noted that just because Rodgers is medically cleared, it is not a guarantee that he will be on the field against the Commanders or at any point this season.
