Abbie Chatfield intervenes on Channel 10’s House of Deadlocks pre-Logies event and treatment of Sandra Sully: ‘She deserves better’
Abbie Chatfield has revealed how Channel 10 prepared and cleaned up its stars for this year’s Logies.
The 28-year-old reality TV star announced Thursday that the channel has set up hair and makeup stations within the channel’s marketing department to beef up its star stable.
“I had to go to Channel Ten’s studios to get my hair and makeup done. “I’m at the workplaces and everyone’s there,” she began on the latest episode of her podcast, It’s A Lot.
“Sandra Sully is behind me and says, ‘Hello darling.’ Osher Gunsberg is here, Lincoln Younes, we’re all in the office and it’s freakin’ weird, Twilight Zone vibes.”
“Why is Sandra Sully sitting in an office chair having her hair blow dried?” “Sandra deserves more than that,” she asked.

“It felt like a dance concert with everyone in a makeshift arrangement.” At one point, I opened a door and someone said, “Anybody want a naked Peter Helliar?” “It was like a house of horrors,” she continued .
Abbie went on to explain that in her ensemble, she had to slip into the staff bathroom and not into a hotel room, which is often the case on logies nights.
Abbie concluded by saying that despite being unprepared, despite her office environment and despite being prepared at someone else’s desk, she still enjoyed the experience.

Elsewhere in the podcast, Chatfield launched an extraordinary spate against Gold Logie winner Sonia Kruger, accusing the TV host of discriminatory views.
The Masked Singer judge discussed Kruger’s recent victory on her podcast It’s A Lot, showing her disapproval after making “disgusting” comments about Muslim immigration.
“It’s very easy for white feminists to say, ‘One woman won.’ Aren’t you glad a woman won?’ “Yes, no, Sonia,” she began.

“I’m not happy that someone who made discriminatory comments about Muslim people on the Today show in 2016 won.”
Chatfield added she was disappointed Sonia wasn’t using her fame as a platform to help those in need.
“How about you use the privilege that you have as a white woman to not discriminate against people of color?” she said.
