A cruel end Abby ChoiThe 28-year-old Chinese model with a multi-million dollar legacy has often made the covers of well-known fashion magazines such as Elle and Vogue. The Hong Kong resident was killed and then chopped into pieces with an electric saw and meat grinder.

Her disappearance was reported on February 22, then, after days of searching, the police’s macabre find: the model’s legs were actually found in the fridge of her Hong Kong apartment, where the crime weapons and some of the victim’s clothing were also found. However, the head had been placed in a pot along with other body parts in an unfurnished apartment in Lung Mei Village. Maybe just hired to commit the crime and wipe away the model’s tracks. A large dread butcher’s shop whose fans are still missing hands and torso.

The suspects

The suspects of the investigators revolve around the ex-husband, Alex Kwong Kong-chi, and his family, namely mother, father and brother. All, according to the investigation, played a role in Choi’s assassination. And for that they were arrested.

The reason for the assassination is said to be related to financial disputes. According to local media, a separation proceeding worth over HK$100 million (about 12 million euros) was indeed underway between Choi and Kwong.

Choi also had two children from her relationship with Kwong, who have now been entrusted to the victim’s mother.
