About dealing with people

Adolph Franz Friedrich Ludwig Freiherr Knigge, born near Hanover in 1752, was a writer, enlightenment and humanist. He wrote the book “On Dealing with People” (1788) and thus laid the foundation for the rules of etiquette. But he actually analyzed people's social behavior and drew conclusions. People should not be judged by what they say, but by what they do. Appreciation and tolerance were his themes. The weaknesses of fellow citizens should not be exposed. Which quickly takes you back to good or bad behavior. An analysis of many social media platforms makes it clear: this vision of 1788 is not being taken seriously.
