(Granby) Westbound Highway 10 is completely closed to traffic near Saint-Alphonse-de-Granby due to an accident involving a concrete mixer, a semi-truck and a car.
Posted at 1:50 p.m
The accident happened around 10:20 a.m. on Highway 10 at kilometer 65 between the Ange-Gardien exit and the Granby exit. Three people were injured and taken to hospital, but their lives are not in danger, said Sûreté du Québec (SQ) spokesman Louis-Philippe Ruel.
According to information from the SQ, a concrete mixer crashed into a truck, which hit the rear of a car. “The two heavy vehicles could no longer circulate, so Highway 10 was completely blocked at that point,” Mr. Ruel said.
There was also an oil spill on the road.
