Six people were injured after an accident while filming a scene in Gladiator 2 Morocco. According to Variety magazine, the sequence involved stunt maneuvers. The victims suffered burns.
Four of the six injured had to be taken to a hospital, the publication said. The accident happened last Wednesday (7), in which no performers were involved.
In an official statement, Paramount Pictures said: “During the filming of a planned action scene on the set of the Gladiator sequel, an accident occurred and several people were injured, but not lifethreatening. The medical and security teams dealt with the situation on.” We were able to quickly get to the scene of the accident so that the injured could be treated immediately. All are in a stable situation and will continue to be monitored.”

The sequel to the winner of Oscar Best Russell Crowe Movie was directed by Ridley Scott. It stars Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Denzel Washington and Connie Nielsen. The premiere is scheduled for November 22, 2024.
