Accidents: Tractor driver drunk: trailer overturns

Edenkoben (dpa) – Three young people were seriously injured in a tractor accident on Weinstrasse. As the police informed on Saturday, the accident took place on Friday evening in Edenkoben. “Four people sat on garden chairs on the tractor,” officials said. The 23-year-old tractor driver was under the influence of alcohol.
The trailer overturned right as the tractor was about to turn left. “All four people on the trailer were thrown to the ground and seriously injured,” officials said. The victims of the accident are between 21 and 23 years old and come from the South Wine Route area. Three of them were seriously injured and one person was slightly injured. They were taken to nearby hospitals. A blood sample was taken from the driver and his driving license was confiscated.
