According to NATO, Sweden met Türkiye’s demands

In the dispute for Sweden’s entry into NATO, the country met all of Turkey’s requirements, according to Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. “Sweden has fulfilled its obligation,” Stoltenberg said today after a meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul.

In view of Turkey’s security concerns, it has also adjusted its legislation. Stoltenberg described the meeting with Erdogan as “productive”. On June 12, new negotiations are due to take place with Turkey and Sweden.
