The Israeli actor David Cunio He was reportedly kidnapped by Hamas along with his wife and threeyearold daughters after the Islamic group attacked Israel last Saturday the 7th. The information comes from Variety magazine.
Cunio appeared in the 2013 feature film “Youth,” directed by Tom Shoval. In contact with the magazine, the director said he did not have much information about where Cunio might be, but his family believes the actor is being held hostage in Gaza.
“There is him, his wife and the little twins. I hope they will be released soon and that nothing serious has happened to them,” he said.
Cunio lived in Nir Oz in southern Israel, the region hardest hit by the Hamas invasion.
The latest information about the actor was given by his brotherinlaw in an interview with CNN. Aharon Aloni said Cunio and his family were never seen again after their house burned down and they were forced to flee. The authorities therefore believe that they are among the 150 people kidnapped in Gaza.
