According to The Times Kylian Mbappe turned down Real Madrid

According to The Times, Kylian Mbappé turned down Real Madrid and is awaiting offers from the Premier League

Since January 1st, French striker Kylian Mbappé has been a free agent to negotiate his move to any team for next season. In this way, “Kyky” will not have to rely on PSG if he wants to sign for another club like Real Madrid, although his signing for the strong Spanish team would bring a new obstacle: the player's lack of interest in himself.

After their attempts to sign him in 2022 and 2023 failed, the Spanish team saw 2024 as an unbeatable opportunity to complete Mbappé's arrival in their team. However, according to the British newspaper The Times, the Parisian rejected the preliminary contract that Valdebebas had offered him as an ultimatum.

According to this medium, the 25-year-old footballer would try to study all available offers, including those he may receive from the English Premier League, before defining his future. One of the clubs interested in his services would be Liverpool, who would add him to their squad for free if they convinced him.

What has Kylian Mbappé said about his future?

A few days ago, the streaming service Prime Video shared an interview with the Frenchman in which the topic of his near future was discussed. In this regard, Mbappé limited himself only to ensuring that he has an “agreement” with the president of PSG to protect the interests of both parties.

“I haven't made a decision yet. But we have an agreement with the president that means all parties are protected. My future is not an internal matter. We have to think about the team,” he explained.

How many goals does Kylian Mbappé have?

If you add up all of his official and friendly matches, both at club level and with the French national team, the Frenchman has scored around 320 goals since his debut in 2015. He scored his last two goals this Sunday, January 7th, in the victory over US Revel for the French Cup.
