Accused after skiing accident, Gwyneth Paltrow wins the case

American actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who was prosecuted for her involvement in a skiing accident at a Utah resort in 2016, won her case Thursday and avoided paying the $3.3 million in damages the prosecution was asking for.

A jury in this western United States state unanimously found that Ms. Paltrow, best known for her role as Pepper Potts in the Iron Man films, was not responsible for the accident involving a retired doctor, Terry Sanderson is.
