Accused of raping her autistic brother-in-law for ten years; She gave birth to her child in 2023

A 34-year-old woman from Florida has been accused of raping her husband's autistic brother a few months after the birth of his alleged victim's child, numerous American media reports.

Amanda Rose Brooks was arrested by Orlando police earlier this month following a lengthy investigation into possible sexual assault against the younger brother of the suspect's husband, whose couple had custody.

She was therefore accused of sexually abusing an adult with a mental disability. She is also accused of lying to authorities and filing a false police report claiming to be a rape victim herself.

Last year, Ms. Brooks told investigators that she had been sexually, verbally and psychologically abused by her husband and his brother.

The 34-year-old woman is said to have provided the police with a list of dates of the attacks to which she allegedly fell victim.

However, investigators were never able to find evidence to support Amanda Rose Brooks' claims. In return, the defendant's mother-in-law also contacted the authorities in July 2022 and confirmed that her autistic son was the victim in this story and not the other way around.

The investigation then revealed that it was Amanda Rose Brooks who entered the young autistic adult's room several times and sexually abused him regularly over a period of 10 years.

The defendant's brother-in-law allegedly protested several times, but the woman told him to keep quiet and not tell anyone, adding that everything was fine because it made her “feel good.”

In September 2022, officers were told that Ms. Brooks was one month pregnant; She finally gave birth to her child in January 2023. DNA testing revealed that the defendant and alleged victim's brother-in-law was the child's biological father.
