Acer seems to have signed a deal with LG Display. In fact, the Taiwanese manufacturer is announcing two OLED PC screens very similar to LG’s.

The shift to OLED continues in the PC world. The Taiwanese manufacturer Acer introduces two new external screens. Both are OLED.
You used to have to pay a fortune to find an external OLED screen. The first OLEDs came on laptops, then on the first external screens. First in 34-inch format, later in different diagonals. Here Acer presents two products that are very similar to the LG UltraGear, which means that these screens use LG Display WOLED panels.

Either a flat screen in the classic format or an ultra-wide curved screen
There’s the Acer Predator X27U, a 27-inch flat screen, and the Predator X45, a 45-inch diagonal ultrawide screen bent at 800R. Both screens are in QHD resolution at 240Hz with very low latency.

Predator X45 and Predator X27U support 98.5% of DCI-P3 color gamut, they are single ported DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 ports, they are compatible with PCs and consoles and are TÜV Rheinland EyeSafe certified. OLED panels are HDR10 compatible with a maximum brightness of 1000nits. On the ergonomic side, they adopt an adjustable metal base.

Prices bite with such features, the Predator X45 screen will be available in Q2 for €1,799. While the Predator X27U will cost €1,099.
