(CNN) – “Speed Racer” and “Valkyrie” actor Christian Oliver died in a plane crash near the Caribbean island of Baquia on Thursday, according to local authorities.
Oliver, whose real name was Christian Klepser, was 51 years old.
According to the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, her daughters Madita Klepser (10) and Annik Klepser (12) also died in the crash, as did pilot Robert Sachs.

German-born Oliver worked in the entertainment industry for 25 years, according to the biography on his official website.
In addition to “Speed Racer” and “Valkyrie,” the productions in which he appeared include “The Good German” and “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.” On television, he played the lead role in the popular European action series “Alarm für Cobra 11” (in Spanish “Alerta Cobra”) for two years, as well as appearing in other German and American series and miniseries.
