247 American actor David Soul, known for his role in the series “Starsky and Hutch”, died this Friday at the age of 80 (5). His wife Helen Snell confirmed the death.
The Chicago (USA)born artist played detective Ken Hutchinson in the series, which aired from 1975 to 1979.
In 2004, Soul made a special appearance as Hutch in the film adaptation of the series, with actors Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson bringing the detective protagonists to life. In Brazil the series was shown in the 70s under the name “Starsky & Hutch Justiça Em Dobro”.
The artist also starred in the series “And the Brides Arrival” and in the films “Jerry Springer: The Opera” by Peter Orton and “Magnum 44” by Ted Post.
