the actor’s body Jeff Machado da Costa was found last Monday (22) by Whereabouts Discovery Police Station (DDPA). The remains of the 44yearold victim have been found tied up in a concrete and buried wooden box two meters deep in Campo Grande, district West Zone of Rio.
The actor had been missing since January 27 and identification was based on fingerprints taken from him civil police.
The family was notified on Wednesday (24th) and the body will be taken to his native Santa Catarina. Police authorities still don’t know how Jeff died, who might have been involved, or his motives for the crime. The investigations are ongoing.
Cintia Hilsendegera friend of Jeff’s and family, made a post on social media through the actor’s account, thanking those who helped with the search.
“It is with great regret that we inform you that Jeff was found dead on 05/22/2023. Jefferson was brutally murdered by jealous, evil, and of course, unscrupulous people. We will give you more information shortly. RJ Paradeiro Police did an excellent job! Thank you to everyone who helped with every little detail,” Hilsendeger wrote.

who was the actor
Jefferson Machado da Costa was born in Araranguá, in the city of Santa Catarina and presented himself on Instagram as an actor, model, producer and journalist. In 2014 he moved to Rio de Janeiro. One of his most famous works was his role in the telenovela “kings”in 2022, from Recreate recordwhen he played a Philistine soldier.
The family learned of the disappearance in January when an NGO found eight dogs in an abandoned state at the actor’s home.
