Actor Keith Jefferson dies after battling cancer

Actor Keith Jefferson, who starred in films such as Django Unchained and director Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, recently died at the age of 53.

The actor, who starred in recent feature film The Burial, died almost two months after announcing he had been diagnosed with cancer.

“From time to time, God presents you with a challenge and leaves it up to you to solve it. When I was diagnosed with cancer, I had to stop, take a break and didn’t want to share it with anyone. Not even my family and my extended family. “Today I’m in the right place to pass it on because my faith is getting stronger,” the artist wrote alongside a moving image at the time.

The news of his death broke the hearts of his colleagues, including the actor Jamie Foxxwith whom he shared the stage in filmmaker Maggie Betts’ drama, which premiered this Friday on Amazon Prime Video.

The artist dedicated a lovely message to him from his networks, emphasizing that he was his great friend and soul mate.

“This loss hurts. Keith, you have been nothing but absolute grace all your life, your heart is pure love without measure, you have been a beautiful soul. We will miss you very much. It’s going to take a while to get over this. Goodbye My friend. I love you,” Foxx wrote.

Jefferson’s funeral will take place on October 21 in the state of Texas.
