American actor Richard Lewis, best known for his role in the series “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” died of a heart attack on Tuesday at the age of 76.
The actor's agent confirmed the news to several American media outlets, stating that he died “peacefully at his residence in Los Angeles.”
Mr Lewis revealed in April last year that he was suffering from Parkinson's disease.
The actor is particularly known for his role in 41 episodes of the popular American situation comedy “Curb Your Enthusiasm”, known in Quebec under the name “Cache ta joie”.
He was also a comedian and made numerous appearances on several famous American television shows including The Tonight Show.
