Those who watched the series “Wandinha” noted that the main character was played Jenna OrtegaShe’s not in the habit of blinking during scenes. That actually happened by chance, right at the beginning of the recording.
According to Ortega, Tim Burton liked the idea after filming a nonflashing take and asked her to accept that role for the rest of the series.
“I did a take where I didn’t even blink. And Tim said, ‘I don’t want you to blink anymore,'” he said.
Jenna complied with Burton’s request, making Wandinha Addams look even more vicious and intimidating. The most interesting thing is that the star herself claimed that she didn’t realize she was filming without blinking.
“It happened because every time we started recording, I reset my face. I flexed every muscle in my face and Tim really liked the Kubrick look where I look through my brows. It’s just a little bit intimidating… Obviously it touched him,” the star added (via: O Fuxico).
Jenna stated that she had a lot of trust in Burton’s work and for that reason followed his opinion in the later scenes.
