The actress died at the age of 78
Actress Jandira Martini has died at the age of 78. The information was published on social media this Tuesday morning, the 30th, by friends of the artist, such as the actor Marcos Caruso. The actress died last Monday at the age of 29 after a yearlong battle with lung cancer.

“Jandira Martini, my greatest friend and proof that opposites attract and complement each other. Together we write plays, scripts, series and soap operas. My great confidante, advisor and responsible for my biggest laughs. My teacher. You know when you pass.” “When you pass by the school you studied at and see that the building has been demolished? That’s how I feel about your departure,” lamented Caruso.
“We lost the great Jandira Martini. A dramatic and tragic depth was combined with a gigantic talent for comedy. She made us laugh and cry. She was touched by the mere existence. My feelings,” wrote friend Walter Alves Benedito.
“Dear, beloved, great actress. My heart already aches from the loss. Thank you for everything and so much talent. RIP Jandira Martini,” actress Eliana Guttman wrote in another post.
Jandira was born in Santos, São Paulo and played memorable roles on television, including Zoraide in the soap opera “O clone”. She also starred in “América”, “Forbidden Desire”, “Caminhos das Indias”, “Written in the Stars” and “Salve Jorge”, among others. The actress's last work on the small screen was a participation in the series “Viver do riso”, in 2018.
