Sabrina Petraglia had a fright this Saturday (3rd). The actress had to go back to the hospital shortly after being released from surgery to have an ovarian tumor removed. She said she felt sick during the day and rushed back to the medical center.
“I don’t know if you saw it in the stories but right after my surgery I felt really bad at home, I went to the emergency room and we saw that I had anemia. We ran some tests and I need to substitute blood. I felt it was important to bring this situation here, not only to make them aware that this can happen after surgery (stay tuned), but also to use this space to talk about the importance of donating blood to speak,” he said.
The artist also highlighted the importance of donating blood. “This act brings hope of life and health to those who need it most: family, friends, or even someone you’ve never met. It doesn’t matter who benefits, but other people will have new opportunities to improve, new opportunities to start their own lives over and over again, and that’s wonderful!” he said.
“Blood banks across the country need to be replenished to serve both those in need and those in frequent need of blood. A single donation can save up to 4 lives! Together, let’s reaffirm the importance of donating blood and helping people in a wide range of health situations. Someone helped me today and I’m so thankful for that! I hope to do the same for someone tomorrow… Come on?
