RIO (AP) Actress Marcella Maia erupted Monday (19th) over emergency facial surgery. The artist, who starred in the TV Globo soap opera ‘Quanto Mais Vida, Melhor’, had complications after applying industrial grade silicone to her face.

“Today I decided to open my heart to what happened to me. As reported, I had emergency surgery in Colombia. A few months ago I found out that I had been a victim of industrial silicone 13 years ago. “I explain that in the video,” he said.

The artist also explained that the video is a way of warning women who are undergoing aesthetic procedures without proper guidance and compliance with the standards set by health authorities.

“This recording is a relief, but also a warning to all young women who, due to the aesthetic pressure, end up having to undergo aesthetic surgeries without first learning about the techniques and professionals. Luckily the worst didn’t happen to me, but I did have a “Bomb Warning” on my face. Pay close attention and be careful with industrial silicone,” he stressed.
