Adam Driver and his wife Joanne Tucker welcomed a baby daughter earlier this year when the Oscar-nominated actor recently publicly announced the new addition to the family.
Driver, 40, announced that he and Tucker, 41, welcomed a new baby during a rehearsal session ahead of his guest appearance on “Saturday Night Live” over the weekend, sources told Page Six.
Driver, who plays Enzo Ferrari in the upcoming biopic “Ferrari,” made the revelation as he went through his opening monologue, the outlet reported.
The San Diego native said, “Last year I asked for and had a baby girl, which is stressful – so this year I'm wishing for Ambien!”
The Marriage Story actor and his wife had a son back in 2016.

Driver followed his previous pattern in confirming the news, as he did when he hosted SNL in January 2020.
Driver, who played Kylo Ren in the Star Wars universe, said at the time: “I'm a husband.” And a father. However, it is in that order. I have made it very clear to my son that he is second in everything.”
Tucker showed off what looked like a baby bump while out shopping in New York City in February.
Sources close to Driver and his wife told Page Six in November 2018 that relatives of Driver and Tucker had discussed the pregnancy on their Instagram accounts, which were set to private.
Tucker's sister posted pictures from a shared baby shower and called them “new moms” in a post that was accidentally made public, insiders told the outlet.
Driver and Tucker took their son on a trip to Italy in March 2021, the outlet reported.
While Driver and Tucker have not spoken publicly about their children, Driver mentioned that they are parents in a February 2017 interview with W Magazine.
The actor said he once doubted he would “love anything more” than his dog, adding: “I may have a child – and that would be it, but the dog!”

Driver and Tucker first crossed paths while studying at Juilliard and tied the knot in June 2013.
Tucker is also an actress, having appeared alongside her husband in the 2019 film “The Report” and in a 2016 episode of the HBO series “Girls.”
She has also appeared in films such as Give or Take (2020), Zero Days (2016) and Listen Up Philip (2014).
