Adamari Lopez He went through several moments of misfortune that showed him how life works, both professionally and personally. During this learning she had to confront herself, her ego, her fears, her feelings and the things she constantly allowed to happen.
The rebirth of the Phoenix after the farewell
The Puerto Rican actress and presenter did not expect to be fired from the morning show: “It surprised me,” she told Venezuelan communicator Érika de la Vega. Although he knows how the world of television works and is aware that there is “a work cycle,” their breakup came at an unexpected time: “I thought it might happen sooner, but when it happened, it had already happened . It wasn’t the moment I expected it to be.”
The news was hard and triggered many changes in her life, especially because she had her daughter Alaïa in her care. However, Adamari is more than grateful to the television station: “They gave me a chance that no one else had given”; refers to her being responsible for “A New Day” for 11 years. Her departure from Telemundo forced her to reinvent herself. What would your new life be like outside of television? About Tony Costa
Adamari López confirmed his separation from actor and choreographer Toni Costa in May 2021. Their love story began 10 years ago when they met on a dance reality show. Two years after the breakup, she talked about how she managed to build a warm relationship with him.
At first, she remembered making the decision, but mentioned that it didn’t mean there was less anger, pain and change: “Maybe I’m not the same as I was in the beginning,” she said.
He recalled that the bad times they may have been through were due to his need to control his daughter’s safety: “I wanted to make sure she was okay.” That’s all in the past and now she is “much more relaxed” because Toni Costa “showed her the ability to keep an eye on Alaïa and keep her in a safe place,” which calms her down.
He added that the relationship with his ex will always be cordial for Alaïa and that he knows that they will not be close friends: “I don’t want to get involved in absolutely anything that has to do with his private life and how “He manages this private life, unless it concerns Alaïa.”
The truth is that the differences between them will never end, although she does not pretend to be in a mood of conflict: “There are things that he sometimes doesn’t understand that I find conflict because men are different than women.” For him Nothing happens and a lot happens for me.”
Adamari López’s insights, which he is not afraid to share
The jubilant panorama in which the 52-year-old Puerto Rican finds herself is the result of a lot of personal work.
Basically, he points out how important it is to live in gratitude, because “in the end, you attract good things.” For the Puerto Rican: “A positive attitude changes everything. If you project yourself with good things, the good will come out, no matter how many bad moments will happen to all of us.”
Another thing Adamari learned is: “The more you let things flow, the easier it is and everything returns to its place.”
When asked directly about the ingredients and tips she used in her reinventions, she emphasized: “Analyzing before speaking helped me a lot even in moments of anger and uncertainty.” He assured that he writes first in order To vent, then study his words and find a way to say the things that bother him without hurting others.
He also learned the importance of “not taking things so personally.” He explained that it helped him understand that everything happens for a good reason, so you have to let life follow its rhythm instead of getting sick and overwhelmed. “We’ll just have to wait for things to cool down to find out what that good reason was.”
In this learning path, Adamari López also knew how to get the best out of himself; For example, not paying so much attention to the voices in your head: “I make up some novel stories, but sometimes you have to silence that mind: ‘Shut up. Continue. Mute’. And change it into something positive and you will see how all these things have a positive effect.” Because like most people, the presenter also expresses herself negatively: “But we have to be generous with ourselves and know that we make mistakes and can correct them.”
The meaning of faith
However, unemployment was not the greatest evil for Adamari López. The Puerto Rican actress and presenter is a survivor of breast cancer, which was discovered in March 2005 at “Stage 1” and from which she was able to be freed from the disease through surgery and subsequent treatment.
Alaïa’s mother explained that she had the support of the faith and her family: “God has always been like my guide. I think my mother taught me that. I held on to the faith I needed to move forward. And I think I tried to do it in every difficulty that arose later.”
All the hardships Adamari went through, including his “biggest setback” of his youth: the heart disease his father was diagnosed with, made him realize “how strong I am.” Especially after he thought that ” “Everything has always been like this.” The difficult situations he faced taught him the importance of family unity and the importance of “having a good attitude in every situation.”
That’s what it’s all about: faith, family and a good attitude. Let’s write Adamari’s advice on a post-it note and carry it with us always.
