As part of the third season of “La Casa de los Famosos,” Telemundo offered a special program on Friday that featured Puerto Rican host Adamari López.
The Puerto Rican native and host of Telemundo’s Hoy Día admitted to the room that she was upset that her ex-partner Toni Costa said on La Casa de los Famosos 2 that she was broke up because of his little Alaïa.
And so, in the latest installment of the famous reality show, Costa spoke about the alleged reasons that led him to split with López after 10 years of relationship.
Last July, in the middle of a conversation with Ivonne Montero, Natalia Alcocer and Laura Bozzo, the Spaniard revealed that it all started after the birth of his daughter Alaïa.
While he didn’t apportion blame, he said the estrangement with the Puerto Rican began when they let Alaïa sleep in the room with them as a baby, and not only that, they also let the little girl sleep in the bed with them.
Both Ivonne and Natalia and Laura left their feelings and told him that this was not right, to which the choreographer agreed.
“We started with the typical crib, so like bed, and then there was a crib, but that was newborn, next to me because I gave her all the bottles at dawn. It was time to move her to her cot, which was in another room, and that never happened, so she already stayed with us in the middle,” Costa said.
“That was one of the things that you distance yourself with because when you want intimacy you’re looking for another time or place, maybe it’s yours and it’s so ideal for being intimate,” he continued away.
Toni Costa fights back
Following Adamari’s recent statements, Toni took to the social network Instagram to speak out about the matter.
“First of all, I would never say that my daughter was the reason or the culprit for my breakup because she wasn’t. We had a conversation with several people in the kitchen and virtually everyone agreed that this affects the couple and I related that it’s something that can touch and distance or cool down,” the dancer said.
He added that it’s perfectly “normal” not to remember that part of what he said on the show almost a year ago.
“It’s normal that I don’t remember what I supposedly said because I didn’t say it that way. I’m sorry if you misunderstood me, but my daughter is holy and I wouldn’t blame her for anything like that. Thank you to the people who are sanely seeing what has really been talked about,” he said.
