Adele admits it would be ‘wonderful’ to have kids with boyfriend Rich Paul

Adele hopes there will be more children in the future.

The singer, who is currently dating sports agent Rich Paul, opened up about her dreams of increasing her brood during her appearance on Monday’s BBC podcast Desert Island Discs.

“I would definitely like to have a few more kids,” Adele told host Lauren Laverne after being asked how she envisions her life in 10 years.

“It would be wonderful if we could do that. If not, I have Angelo. I just want to be happy.”

Adele, 34, shares 9-year-old son Angelo with her ex-husband Simon Konecki. The two finalized their divorce in April 2019.

Despite their split, the “Easy On Me” singer admitted co-parenting with Konecki, 48, was easier than she thought.

“It was never really difficult because we are such good friends. Over my dead body, my kid has one messy divorce in their lifetime,” she said on the podcast.

“There are no problems and there were no problems, so I think it was easier to make sure that didn’t happen. I’ve been blessed with him and he’s just the best. I certainly approached it with grace and I think it really paid off.”

As for her current boyfriend, Paul, 40, definitely knows a thing or two about co-parenting as well. The sports agent experienced his fatherhood at a “very young” age, raising his three children while trying to grow his business.

Paul previously said in a profile for the New Yorker that when he has more children he “looks forward to being a different dad — a more patient dad.”

As Page Six previously reported, the couple became Instagram-official in September 2021. The announcement came shortly after the two kissed next to each other on floor seats at an NBA game in July this year.

Despite her recent public outings, Adele still wants to keep her life as a friend and mother as “private” as possible.

The “Someone Like You” singer said on the podcast that she “loves being a mom” and applauds how motherhood has changed her in “good, bad and weird” ways. She also explained that the apple didn’t fall too far from the tree as her son appears to be following in her musical footsteps.

“Angelo just fell in love with music…we sit down and have the most intense conversations about music,” she explained.

“We sit down and listen to these songs together and pick them apart. And when we talk about it, he’s like, ‘What do you think that means?’ I’m like, ‘I don’t know. It could mean this, it could mean that.’ It’s just heavenly.”
