Adele has some strong words for fans who are thinking about throwing things at artists on stage. Do not do it. Armed with a t-shirt cannon, the Grammy-winning singer shot t-shirts at concert-goers in the audience at a recent Weekends with Adele concert in Las Vegas, railing against those who might be tempted to shoot the artists to throw.
“Have you noticed how people in America forget the damn show etiquette and just throw shit on the stage? Did you see that?” she asked as she walked the stage with the t-shirt gun, occasionally shooting shirts at fans in the audience.
“I bloody dare it,” she said. “Dare you throw anything at me.”

There has recently been an odd spate of concert-goers throwing objects at performers on stage, raising concerns about the safety of performers and spectators.
Bebe Rexha was recently hit in the eye by a fan’s cell phone and required stitches. A few days later, singer Ava Max was slapped by a fan. A fan threw what appeared to be a bag of her mother’s ashes onstage at a Pink concert in London, and Lil Naz Kelsea Ballerini punched her in the eye during a concert in Boise, Idaho. She left the stage briefly, then returned and addressed the audience: “My only concern is to keep everyone safe.” Don’t throw things away. I want it to be a safe place for everyone. We have small children here, and can you help me with them tonight?”
In late 2022, Harry Styles was hit by Skittles while performing in LA and hit by a flying object during a concert in Chicago.
