Adele is reportedly close to finalizing a new deal to bring her Las Vegas residency to the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood after vowing her postponed shows would go ahead this year.
The British star, 33, dismayed fans in January after she postponed a lucrative series of Caesar’s Palace shows just 24 hours before her first performance at the venue, with many out of pocket after spending thousands on tickets and airline tickets to see her on stage.
But according to TMZ, Adele and her team are in “serious discussions” with the folks at Planet Hollywood to bring their shows there, with performances slated to begin within months barring unforeseen circumstances.

The singer originally postponed her weekends with Adele to January 20, citing the COVID-19 pandemic as a mitigating factor.
It had previously been hinted that space would be made for them to belt out their biggest hits locally, with Keith Urban completing his own residency on June 18 before Los Stewart opened shop on September 23.
A source addressed the issue in February, telling The Sun on Sunday: “That’s the plan that would make the most sense.

Options: Adele’s ailing Las Vegas residency could be relocated from her original venue due to a scheduling clash sparked by the singer’s sudden eleventh-hour cancellation
Under consideration: Planet Hollywood’s Zappos Theater is located just a few feet from Caesar’s Palace Coliseum, making it a logistically realistic option should the change progress
“Discussions are ongoing at the moment and we hope Adele’s newly arranged dates will be agreed very soon.
“She has made it clear that next year is not an option and everyone is very keen to finalize the dates.”
It had previously been reported that the delays were due to the singer’s dissatisfaction with the set design, particularly over a swimming pool constructed in the center of the stage.

Insiders at Caesars Palace camp told TMZ that the resort and Live Nation need to reach a workable agreement with the singer within a month for the show to go ahead.
Adele’s current boyfriend Rich Paul, a high-profile sports agent, had apparently entered negotiations over the show, which is said to bring in $150 million.
The sources said Adele had several points of contention about the show, including but not limited to the choir and the sound system.

Earlier this month, she reportedly fired her creative team and hired a whole new one to salvage her postponed stint.

It is understood she has parted ways with the creative team behind the residency and instead called in Take That’s creative expert to take the reins.
Her decision comes after she revealed the rescheduled concerts will “absolutely” take place this year as she plans to have another baby next year.
Adele split from longtime collaborator Esmeralda ‘Es’ Devlin, who designed the set for her 121-date tour in 2016, and has hired Kim Gavin and Stufish, according to The Telegraph.

A source close to the production told the publication that the new team “will be developing a new show since everything from the It show has been scrapped.”
Adele reportedly toasted with It in “explosive arguments” over the Las Vegas staging and production of the shows.

She has previously worked with Adele, claiming in 2016 that the superstar “didn’t want to tour” but was won over by her stage designs.
She told the Evening Standard: “She had to like the design before she agreed to tour. She has a child, she didn’t want to leave.’
The trick, she claims, was to overcome Adele’s stage fright by designing something that allowed the hitmaker to become the “grand ole eyeliner” diva and the “little ole” allwit you! of Tottenham’ at the same time.
The result was Adele’s blinking eyelids – covered in thick mascaras – projected onto a canvas background.
