The first teaser of Prabhas’ Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, is released today. The speech isn’t as expected, but the teaser has been heavily criticized on social media platforms. We’ve rounded up a few here:
“This is done in the style of animated films. I barely remember Prabhas’ face. It tries to get the world to understand that Ramayana was real and history. But this film makes the epic fictional and gives it no history value. “
“Why does Lord Rama appear clean-shaven during Vanavasam? He should have a beard, since self-shaving was forbidden at the time. Although this may sound trivial, this part caught my attention as I observed the same error over and over again in almost all of our films”.
“Adipurush is for kids. It’s made like a circus. I can’t wait for this movie for sure, but I wish at least my kids would encourage this movie.”
“I expected something out of the ordinary from Om Raut, but I didn’t expect him to ape some Hollywood fantasies. This is a shame for Ramayana.”
“We should welcome something new. Om Raut tried to tell the Ramayana in a new narrative style. My kids liked the teaser. I’m sure we’ll all watch it.”
“Hanuman’s looks are a big disappointment. VGX and CGI elements look cheap”.
“Adipurush becomes a bigger hit than Brahmastra. Initially, netizens cried that Brahmastra’s graphics were cheap. But the young audience made it a huge hit. Reserve my word. Adipurush rocks.”
“It’s like a paper flower. Colorful but fragrance-free.
Well, the comments are pouring in and this has become the talk of the town in tinsel town today.
