Adrian 'Mr Lambo' Portelli reveals he turned his designer wardrobe into a bulletproof bunker: 'The best thing I've ever done'

Billionaire entrepreneur Adrian “Mr Lambo” Portelli has revealed the extraordinary lengths he went to to protect his prized collection of designer clothing and accessories.

The 34-year-old Block shopper took to Instagram Stories on Saturday to give his fans a tour of his bedroom and adjacent walk-in closet and share a video of his massive collection of expensive shoes, clothes and perfumes.

In the clip, the Melbourne businessman explained how he turned the room into a bulletproof bunker so he could feel “safe”.

“Everyone asks about security in my house and stuff,” he began, filming the room.

“So it’s the best thing I’ve ever done.” [is]”I've had my alarms and cameras fixed… the house is under surveillance,” he continued, adding that bulletproofing his bedroom was “by far the best thing he's ever done.”

'[I] very, very recommended [this] if you ever want to feel super safe in your home. “I had this done in my bedroom, so I basically turned my entire bedroom into a safe with a bulletproof door,” Portelli explained.

“The walls are being done and the windows too.” “So, lock that up and let's go,” he said as he closed and locked his bedroom door for the camera.

Portelli made history on The Block in 2023 when he purchased Steph and Gian's home for a whopping $5 million.

He also bid $4.2 million for the property of sisters Eliza and Liberty, then made the strange move of bidding against himself – something that had never happened before on the show.

His net worth is estimated by the AFR to be over $1 billion, taking into account his collection of real estate and luxury cars as well as the paper value of his automotive enthusiast club LMCT+.

LMCT+ makes money by charging users a subscription fee, which gives them access to exclusive competitions with prizes such as houses, bikes, cars and boats.
