They attend kindergarten and elementary school in Montreal. They are four, six, eight or nine years old. They terrorize their classmates with a gun or a knife and throw their teachers, who serve as punching bags, into physical terror.

TVA has just aired a disturbing report that complements the dark and more than disturbing portrait of contemporary Quebec, disoriented, shall we say, unable to face the collective impotence revealed by the phenomenon of child drummers.

Teachers are the scapegoats of these little ones, inhabited by an instinctive fear that expresses itself in anger and hatred, aggravated to such an extent that from an early age they turn them into more or less uncontrollable monsters.

There have always been problem children. But, often exposed to unsupervised video game violence and being helpless witnesses to the violence of the adults around them, of whom they are all too often the victims, these children are crying out for help.

Have we become so destitute that we are forced to endure what appears to be a new expression of social disorder that is turning school into a sanctuary for children with psychiatric behavior?

Some children today force competent, well-trained teachers who enjoy the company of children to leave what they see as a calling rather than an oppressive profession.

Children who have become adult bullies and child bullies are also largely reflective of the environment in which they live. You witness domestic violence. They themselves are beaten, abused or robbed of their affection. It is children within their reach to watch all the horrors circulating on the cursed screens. Children in front of whom the parents practice no verbal censorship. In short: children who were once euphemistically badly brought up.

Who will try to stop this childish violence? Where are the guardian angels in 2023?
