The heartbreaking news was shared by her friends online and TMZ reported her suicide death later on Monday. According to the website, Kagney died Thursday at her residence in Parma, Ohio. Her friends posted a heartbreaking GoFundMe page with a moving ode to the celebrity, confirming the circumstances.

“Despite all of her impressive achievements and talents, Kagney has unfortunately struggled with mental health issues over the years.” After asking for support to help Kagney's mother Tina with the costs of her memorial service, her friends took to social media to to raise awareness of their health struggles. They also mentioned that any excess funds would be used to support an animal rescue.

The creators of the GoFundMe page for Kagney's mother said: “We are raising funds on behalf of Tina, Kagney's mother, to cover the cost of Kagney's memorial and any associated financial expectations.”
Who was Kagney Linn Karter?
According to her friends, the 36-year-old was “a performer, a singer, a dancer, a daughter and a friend.” She came to our Cleveland studio for the first time in November 2019, fresh from LA, growing up and ready to jump back into pole position in a brand new community where she knew no one and no one knew her.

Kagney debuted in the adult film industry in the mid-2000s and her talent earned her numerous AVN awards. In 2019, she made the decision to relocate from Los Angeles, returning to her love of pole dancing and eventually becoming a regular at a studio in Ohio. She eventually decided to open her own studio and focus on the beauty and athleticism of pole dancing instead of adult films. Her friend on the page added: “Even in her darkest days, she still came to the studio always ready to learn, contribute and improve in every little way.”
