Adulterated fentanyl led to the death of Leandro De Niro, grandson of Robert De Niro

When asked by one of her followers on Instagram, Drena de Niro, daughter of American actor Robert De Niro, revealed that her son Leandro De Niro Rodriguez, 19, died after taking adulterated fentanyl.

“Someone sold you fentanyl spiked pills they knew had fentanyl spiked in them and they sold you anyway, So to all these people that fucking buy and sell this shit “My son is gone forever,” said Drena.

According to The Chron, the young man was found dead in an apartment in the Wall Street area on July 2.

“My beautiful and sweet angel. I loved you beyond what I can say or describe from the moment I felt you in my stomach. You were my joy, my heart and everything that was pure and real in my life. “Wish I was with you right now,” Drena wrote in a message.

The news of Leandro’s death was announced by his mother, who, like the Goodfellas protagonist, asked for privacy.

De Niro adopted Drena as a child during his marriage to her mother Diahnne Abbott in 1976.
