“We want the people who visit us to feel like part of the family, as if they were visiting friends,” explains Nathalie Beaudoin, co-owner of the outfitter with her husband Denis Labarre.
“We always set up our outfitter with the understanding that the satisfaction of the people who choose us as a travel destination is paramount. Whether for fishing, family stays or just enjoying our beautiful nature, we are here to offer you the maximum. »
For his part, Denis ensures that everything happens in harmony on the territory.
“I’m always there to accompany people, to help them when they need them and to make sure they don’t miss anything. We have very good fishing lakes for all types of anglers, easy access and all the additional services they may need during their stay. It’s my job, as they say, and you can be assured that I’m doing my best. »
I had visited this area in its early days. In all honesty, I have to admit that the path taken has led them to really excellent products, both in terms of housing and in terms of fishing. You really feel like part of the family.
ACCOMMODATION AND FISHING
The outfitter has seven cabins that can accommodate more than 40 people. They are all well equipped for a very comfortable European style stay.
There are boats in all lakes. It is possible to rent electric motors on site or to bring your own motor. If you want, you can also bring your quad to move to the different waters. The chalets are all separated from each other, so you can enjoy your privacy during your stay.
For fishing, there are ten lakes that feature only spotted trout averaging 12 to 14 inches in length. One of the lakes has trophy trout that can weigh in excess of two pounds.

“The principle is simple for us,” says Denis. We stock our lakes regularly so that anglers can thrive.
“We must not forget that the basis in our area is simple. Enthusiasts are willing to sacrifice some things for comfort or roads, but never for grip. It has to bite. Our goal is to make the resource available so people can thrive. Everything else is in the hands of the fisherman. »
The traditional Toronto wobblers, William, Lake Clear and Amazing Spoon are suitable as baits. As for flies, Mickey Finn, Silver Par Belle and the traditional Muddler Minnow have also done well. In an hour we caught 15 very nice trout, enough to satisfy any angler. On the main site, opposite the reception, there is a small pavilion for gutting the catch.
FAMILY
The family aspect is very important to this outfitter.
So we find on site pedal boats, kayaks, paddleboards, trampoline, water trampoline, swings, everything young people need to have fun.

You can safely go on a little fishing trip and who knows, sample your catch. Once the boat ride is over, they can have fun and make the most of their stay. Thus, within the framework of the family stays offered, everyone is satisfied. It is also possible to go bear hunting in spring and moose and small game hunting in autumn.
The outfitter is 60 km from La Tuque, the journey takes about an hour. Take Route 25, then turn off at KM 23 and follow the signs to the outfitter’s front desk.
