The devastation left in southwest Florida by Hurricane Ian can be seen in aerial photos taken by the Telemundo 51 helicopter.
From the air, the destruction can be seen on the southwest coast near where Category 4 Hurricane Ian hit and grabbed winds of 150 miles per hour.
Destroyed houses with blown-off roofs, buildings with shattered windows, shattered streets and debris scattered along the coast can be seen. A completely destroyed dock can also be seen.
Ian entered the state from the west in a sector of Cayo Costa near Fort Myers, causing damage to the area and areas such as Naples, Sanibel, and Captiva.
