Last Thursday (2) at 9:49 a.m. local time, the final flight of the Airbus A330 LVFNJ in the colors of Aerolíneas Argentinas took off for the United States. The plane left the Argentine airline’s fleet after eight years of service and will be replaced by a newer jet.

The plane departed from Ministro Pistarini International Airport in Buenos Aires and flew to Miami on flight AR1040, which took just over nine hours. Then, according to the RadarBox platform, the Airbus A330 headed for Roswell Airport in New Mexico (USA).

The LVFNJ is the second Airbus A330 to recently depart from the company’s fleet. In September 2021, the Airbus A330200, registration LVFNI, left the country and also traveled to Roswell, a desert region and place of aircraft conservation, Aviacionline, a partner of AEROIN, reported.

In April this year, the airline received a new Airbus A330200 in Buenos Aires.
