On the program for this eighth edition of AEW Battle of the Belts, Orange Cassidy defends the International title against John Silver, Statlander defends the TBS title against Willow Nightingale, Samoa Joe defends the ROH TV title against Tony Nese and the Trios titles are at stake in the main event between The Acclaimed and the trio of Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard and Angelo Parker.

The show begins with Orange Cassidy’s entrance as Jon Moxley, still standing on the ramp after the end of AEW Collision, crosses him. The two wrestlers shove each other violently before being separated so that Cassidy’s international championship match against John Silver can take place.

Kris Statlander defeated Willow Nightingale by pinfall with a 450 splash to retain his title.

Statlander extends his hand to shake with Nightingale, but Skye Blue intervenes. However, Nightingale shakes Statlander’s hand, much to Skye Blue’s disappointment.

In an interview, after the small confrontation between Cassidy and Moxley at the beginning of the episode, the international champion challenges Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler YUTA to a tag team match. The AEW Trios Championships will be defended by The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn in the main event against Daniel Garcia, Angelo Parker and Matt Menard.
