Chris Jericho is the villain. Jericho prevented him from taking advantage of his opportunities for four years. One day he thought Jericho would pass the torch to him, but Jericho never did. – Back, MJF and Adam Cole enter the ring. Adam Cole is on crutches with one leg in a cast, Cole is sitting on a chair in the ring. Cole asks who is up for a story. Cole says that unfortunately it’s a sad chapter in history because he was seriously injured last week. His ankle exploded, he broke in three places, he tore his ligaments, he did everything he could, but he has to go under the knife. He will do everything to return as soon as possible. As we know, he and MJF are the ROH Tag Team Champions and will have to forfeit the titles as they can no longer defend them. MJF interrupts Adam Cole and tells him to wait a second. MJF says he didn’t wrestle twice in the same night to lose the titles to Righteous. The crowd rejects the idea.

MJF says Cole wouldn’t get hurt if he didn’t help him and he needed Cole’s help at the Grand Slam. He also knows how important the ROH Tag Team Titles are to Cole, and when he returns, the titles will still be theirs. MJF says at WrestleDream that he will defend and win the tag team titles in a handicap match against the Righteous ! Roderick Strong comes screaming as Kingdom pushes his wheelchair. MJF says White has to smoke strong weed. MJF says it won’t work with him. You can’t miss your chance when you face the king. He has been compared to many people throughout his career. His name continues to grow. He once read an article that said MJF was good, but “he wasn’t Jay White,” which bothered him. When he sees Jay White, he understands better why this bothers him. He carries AEW on his shoulders and White pretends to be just as important as him. Worse still, white has no flavor at all, it’s some kind of tofu dish. Today White wants to eat on his plate. If he were White, he would leave MJF’s ring.

White applauds MJF. Jay White says he just came to get the authentic MJF experience, but he’s a little disappointed. White is interrupted by the crowd chanting “Tofu.” White says he doesn’t know if injuries are a problem, but MJF is distracted by his new friend Adam Cole. He doesn’t think fans love MJF as much as Adam Cole. The crowd chants “MJF.” White says the Adam Cole situation is his fault. If he hadn’t ended Cole’s career at Forbidden Door 1, MJF would never have become Cole’s best friend and they would never have won the Wembley titles. He’s on MJF’s throat and doesn’t feel so good after Samoa Joe. So he’s going to ruin MJF’s life for a little longer. MJF calls himself the devil, but MJF needs to find another level to stop him from taking the AEW World Title. White lists his track record. White says at the end of the day MJF will have the fans and he will have the championship. This is White’s era because MJF is being softened. MJF says White has no idea what he can do. MJF takes off his shirt to fight, but White decides to leave.

Why does he think he will win in 2-Out-Of-3 Falls? Cage says it was luck and he will leave WrestleDream as champion. He asked for this stipulation about what Darby can do during an actual game. Cage asks if his uncle will be there. Darby says his uncle died, like all the people Cage talks about. He is not afraid to die and will enter WrestleDream as champion. Cage invites Darby to bring his mother and the rest of his family if he is so confident. He will call Nick Wayne’s mother for the show. Darby says he’ll tell Nick Wayne to stay away because he wants to win himself. Cage says Nick Wayne needs a real man as a mentor, not someone who puts makeup on his face to hide. Paquette states that The Elite and Mogul Embassy will be banned from the ring because of this signing. Paquette asks Page to sign first. Page accepts the contract, but Strickland stops him. Strickland says he’s been impressed with Page’s energy lately, but it’s a little too late. They are four days away from WrestleDream, Page should have prepared beforehand. They go to Seattle, Strickland’s home. Page doesn’t seem to understand the situation. He’ll never be like Page, and Page can’t do anything against an outlaw. Adam Page says Strickland’s words surprised him, but he had time to think and he has him to thank.

Page said Strickland pointed out that he hadn’t had a new outfit or T-shirt in a year. He knew it, but he realized that for four years there had been a black cloud hanging over his head that could never go away. He defeated Jon Moxley in a Texas Death Match and reunited with his friends from Elite. He was supposed to be the happiest man, but every time he started smiling, the cloud came back and it started raining again. Despite the storm, he is still here today. Despite the lows, he expressed his determination, his hope and his passion to stay that way. He realized that the fans deserved more from him, the fans deserved the best from him. He deserves it for himself. This is what Strickland has to offer at WrestleDream, the best of Hangman. Adam Page signs the contract.

Strickland said it was the most pathetic thing he had ever heard. He’ll be honest, it’s not a personal story between the two. It could have been anyone at WrestleDream. He obviously has mental problems because he makes enemies every day. He makes enemies to get his way. It’s going to rain a lot in Seattle. Adam Page says Strickland wants the main event spot and would have been the first black AEW champion, but he doesn’t have what it takes to take that spot. Strickland slaps him and signs the contract.
