AEW releases post-rampage video by Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland

As seen in the new YouTube video below, AEW has released a post rampage video giving fans a glimpse of what happened between Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee.

As mentioned last night, Swerve appeared at last night’s AEW Rampage and ran in to help Keith Lee while being attacked by The Acclaimed, Will Hobbs and Ricky Starks. On last week’s episode, he made his in-ring debut with the company when he successfully defeated Tony Nese in his first match. Meanwhile, Lee has been racking up wins on Rampage for a few weeks since he first debuted with the company.

“San Antonio,” Lee began at the microphone. “There are a lot of you in this building who saw me come out of nowhere. As the internet knows, one of my favorite words in ‘abundance’. I also want to say that there are a multitude of you that have made me a question mark from the top of the world over the past two years. Thank you to each and every one of you for being there, regardless of the scenario.

“My thanks to AEW for the desire, need and request that ‘The Limitless One’ return to this beautiful sport known as pro wrestling. I am not ready yet; and my thanks to Swerve for coming over because I can hardly breathe, I got my ass kicked with a boombox and my husband came in with the chair. So I say, arigato. And congratulations to a Ms. Thunder Rosa. And because people are waiting and tired of hearing me talk, I have one last thank you, and that is to thank you.”

Swerve then grabbed the mic to wrap up the post-show segment.

“I don’t have much more to say, but, uh, I want you all to say it with me. So San Antonio, have a good time. Whose house?!” The crowd responded with a loud “Swerve’s house!” “I love you too,” Swerve replied.

The feud between Hook and QT Marshall is set to continue with next Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage on TNT, but no other games have been announced as of this writing.
