AfD leader Chrupalla left hospital and investigations began

Ingolstadt – Federal President of the German AfD, Tino Chrupalla (48), was hospitalized on Wednesday during an election campaign event in Ingolstadt. There he was observed in an “intensive medical monitoring station”, reports “Spiegel”, citing security circles. Reports that he did not respond had previously been denied by a party spokesman. The politician reportedly felt pain before going on stage. According to the AfD, Chrupalla has now managed to leave the hospital again. He will also no longer be in Ingolstadt and will no longer participate in other election campaign events in Bavaria.
