Kabul/Herat – According to the government, at least 2,445 people died after several strong earthquakes in Afghanistan on Saturday morning. A government spokesman, the radical Islamic Taliban, said this on Sunday. According to official counts, more than 9,240 people have been injured so far. However, the number of victims is expected to be significantly higher.
